Born and raised in Athens, NikosMine Lampropoulos follows a unique path that combines entrepreneurship with artistic creation. He holds a university degree in Business Administration and Computer Programming, and for many years successfully managed his own company trading dental materials and machinery in Greece.

However, his inner need for creation did not allow him to continue on that path. As a self-taught visual artist, he has been constantly experimenting with painting and sculpture since childhood, exploring the properties and potentials of different materials.

Since 2013, based in Dallas, Texas, he works exclusively as a professional Artist, developing new techniques and creating works that capture his personal vision of Art.

His Artwork is abstract based on rich colors and texture combinations. He Believes that texture adds an element of depth to Art that color alone cannot express. His compositions use mixed elements and are unique, full of my energy and strong emotions. Through his work, he hopes to open a window for you to explore your secret dreams and feelings. In His work you can see slowly the painting unravel a bit more. Numerous layers over layers of paint, incorporating layers of reality, His new series that He is currently working on, has the name 'FTHORA', a Greek word that means Wearing Down. In our modern world everybody fights against Time, in an effort to win it and make themselves look younger. Everybody loves the New. That's why He has decided to create new paintings which look old and worn down. When you can't wait for years, you have to create your own Time Lapse. His new paintings are extensive fields of color which have sometimes been likened to caves or vast Abysses momentarily illuminated by crackling flares of light. Getting lost in them is inevitable.
